Right, so you have decided to buy some pixels in the Billion Dollar World. Firstly, congratulations and we wish you a warm welcome to our world! but what do you do next? If you follow the simple steps outlined below you should have no problem acquiring the space you want.

Step 1: Choose the country you want to purchase your pixel space in. You can do this be either clicking directly on the country itself or by selecting it from the 'Select Country' drop down menu.		Step 2: Click on "Toggle Grid On/Off" to bring up a grid. This grid is made up of 100 pixel blocks so you can determine exactly where and how much space you want to purchase.

Step 3: Find out the coordinates for your chosen space by hovering your cursor over the exact block/s you want and make a note of them. Each 100 pixel block has its own set of coordinates, so if you want more than 100 pixels you will have to make a note of the coordinates for each separate block. The coordinates shown in the example are for a single 100 pixel block.		Step 4: Your image must be the correct size for the space you wish to purchase and be either a JPEG or GIF file. You can make sure of this by using software such as Photoshop (there are countless others!) to check this and/or make adjustments if necessary. The example shows a magnified version of a 100 pixel (10 x 10) image, which is the minimum amount of space you can purchase in the Billion Dollar World.

Step 5: Now you know exactly where you want your image and that your image is the right size click on the "Buy Space" link in the navigation bar at the top of the page.		Step 6: Please read all of the terms and conditions. Now choose the payment method you are going to use to pay for your pixel space (Pay Pal is the recommended option) and click on the "Buy Now" button.

Step 7: A new browser window will open and you will be directed to the Pay Pal web site. If you do not have a Pay Pal account you can easily create one here, or if you choose, you can simply pay with a credit card or bank account (where available). As space is sold in blocks of 100 pixels (10 x 10), make sure you change the quantity to reflect the amount of space you want to purchase. For example if you want 500 pixels (which is 5 x 100 pixel blocks), you will have to change the quantity to 5 and click 'update totals'.		Step 8: After you have completed payment successfully you will receive a notification from Pay Pal. Now click on the email link which is on the "Buy Space" page: sales@billiondollarworld.com and your default mail program will open.

Step 9: Now this bit is important. 'Attach' your image to the email, making sure you include all the relevant information including the coordinates, TITLE/ALT text (max. 50 characters) as well as the name of the country you want your space in. Now send the email! Below is an example of all the information you need to include in your email.		Step 10: That's it! Once we have confirmed your payment and received all your details, your image will go live on the Billion Dollar World (please allow up to 48 hours). Here is an example of an image that is live on the Billion Dollar World (please note that only part of the page is actually shown). It is a single 100 pixel block with the TITLE/ALT text shown. When the image is 'clicked on', a user is directed to the web site that the buyer has requested.
